In accordance with the European Parliament and Council (EU) Regulation 2016/679 of 27th April 2016 (GDPR), SIMBAIN HOSTELS, S.L. informs all the users of the website of the management of personal data provided during access to and usage of the website, and how SIMBAIN HOSTELS will use this data.
As a general rule, what will my personal data be used for?
- To attend to the request for information, via the contact section on the website.
- To send information electronically from SIMBAIN HOSTELS and its different establishments on our activities, promotional activities and any other information we deem to be of your interest.
- To be able to manage your online booking.
What is the legitimization procedure for the management of your data?
- When attending to the request for information via the section "Send us a message" on the website. Consent is given by sending the request.
- When sending information regarding SIMBAIN HOSTELS S.L. Consent is article 21.1 of the Law of Information Society Services, in the case of electronic messages.
- When managing online bookings, the implementation of the contract.
- When managing the business relationship with customers and/or supplier, the implementation of the contract.
How long will your data be stored?
In general terms, the data you provide will be stored for the time deemed necessary to fulfill the motives the data was provided, and in all cases, for the legally established time periods in the case of information related to services rendered. For the time required to respond to the request or to carry out the corresponding internal monitoring related to your suggestion or observation. With regards to the sending of commercial messages sent electronically, indefinitely, until we receive communication indicating otherwise.
To whom will your personal data be shared?
As a general rule, your data is not expected to be shared with third parties. The only communicated messages will be, apart from those legally established, between SIMBAIN HOSTELS and its different establishments as long as they are necessary, such as in the case of a reservation or when managing certain aspects of the activities programme.
Apart from the aforementioned, third parties and those in charge of data management may have access to your data.

Insofar as SIMBAIN HOSTELS, S.L. uses your personal data, you have the right to request:
Access. - The interested party will have the right to obtain confirmation from the person in charge as to whether your data is being used or not, as well as detailed information regarding certain aspects of the way your data is being used.
Correction. - The interested party has to right to correct their inaccurate personal data, or to complete any incomplete personal data.
Elimination. - The interested party has the right to request the elimination of their personal data, and in any case, the elimination will be subject to the limits established by the regulatory rule.
Limitation of usage. - The interested party will have the right to request limitation of the usage of their personal data.
Opposition to usage. - Under certain circumstances and for motives related to their particular situation, the interested parties may oppose the usage of their data. SIMBAIN HOSTELS, S.L will cease usage of their data, except for legitimate, urgent reasons, or to use in the defense of possible claims.
The right to the portability of their data. - That is to say, they will have the right to receive,n a structured way, by a means that is of common use and which can be read mechanically any personal data concerning them that they have provided, and to transmit this data to another person in charge of data management.

Where do we obtain your data?
Your data has been provided by you, your company, or third parties such as travel agencies, online reservation centres, etc.
For commercial messages, the data is obtained, after consent being given, from the establishment where you stayed or where you used their services.
What happens if I don't provide the data requested?
For identification data belonging to the customer/user, as well as other contact data or any other data that could be requested in accordance with the applicable regulation, it is obligatory to provide it. Refusal to do so may result in not being able to access the service. Any other data is voluntary, and therefore, not providing them does not impede entering into a contractual relationship.
Guardianship of the control authorities.

Security measures.
SIMBAIN HOSTELS has adopted legally required personal data protection levels, and has installed all the technical means and measures it has available to prevent the loss, non-authorised access, and the theft of personal data provided to SIMBAIN HOSTELS. However, the user must be aware that the security measures on the internet are not invulnerable.
